He received his M.S. from Columbia University and has spent the past decade working as an author, journalist, ghostwriter, editor, and advocate/educator for the LGBTQ+ community. His work and essays have appeared in The New York Times, Newsweek, Buzzfeed, Salon, and others. He lives in Brooklyn.
